Prism Safety is the Professional Institute for Safety Management. We are a staff of dedicated professionals with a passion for two things: workplace safety, and sharing the knowledge.

It has been said that information is the currency of the 21st century. That is substantially true. The more information you have, the greater your value. Consequently, there is an ever greater trend in industry to guard, limit, and protect information. While this may be a great approach to banking, credit, or weapons development, it is disastrous for health and safety.

Prism Safety holds a number of revolutionary values like these:

• Learning to save lives and prevent injuries should not cost people money
• Governments and universities have published state-of-the-art materials, and we should access those rather than reinventing the same wheels just so we can have the “proprietary rights” and charge huge fees
• There are vastly more small and medium sized businesses than large corporations, and those employees deserve the same level of workplace safety
• Safety is not a “cost item”. Injuries are a “cost item”.

Those are a few of our principles. You get the idea. The bottom line is incredibly simple. Safety is largely a matter of the right knowledge combined with the right attitudes. We are dedicated to making an impact on the workplace, the community, and the home by contributing our time and efforts to giving EVERYONE access to the knowledge and skills that keep us safe.
